Co-founder Pietro Triassi immigrated to Canada in 1957 from a small town in Italy. Being the son of a butcher, his passion for food started at a young age as he helped run the family grocery store in Montreal. In 1978, he launched himself into the reception hall business in which he served thousands of people over the course of 38 years. Following his passion for restauration and his desire to bring people together, in 2004, Café Victoria’s was opened and named after his first granddaughter, Victoria.
Pietro inspired his son Paolo Triassi who similarly demonstrated a passion for food and serving people. Through hard work and dedication, Paolo, absorbed all the knowledge he can and has become a vital part of the business. Together, Pietro and Paolo have continuously evolved Café Victoria’s by combining traditional authentic italian food in a new and modern setting.
